Miss Juliana Teo of 3 Faith is supposed to be one of the best P3 teachers.Have not heard much about the others so no comments there.

Will the present batch of P3 teachers still be teaching our P3 kids in 2012? Iโ€™d assumed there will be some kind of job/level rotation amongst the teachers.

not sure whether 292 is highest since there are 8/9 classes in P2?

          btw, 292 is from 2joy.

For P3 Science this year, start with Diversity, follow by Cycles, then Interaction.

Thanks very much leyu ๐Ÿ™‚ Will try to ask my child to do some reading abt Diversity so that when next year comes around,he won't be so blur...

BTW,there is a high score of 296 from a boy in my child's shen guang hua wen ban.I believe he is a prefect. My child told me his score and I just couldn't believe it.Perhaps he misheard. That will be a near perfect score. With such unbelievably bright students,I have told my child to be mentally prepared to be last in class next year ๐Ÿ˜ž

My DD P3 told me that they started Diversity, Cycles then Interaction.

                  ๐Ÿ˜‚

In SA1 she did it quite badly and SA2 then improved. She learnt it by herself and no tuition.

Does any of you know the sequence for Science teaching for P3? There are 3 topics as stated in the booklist - Cycles,Diversity and Interaction. Will the P3 learn Cycles first or.....?Have heard that Science is a very tough subject to do well in.

                    Hi AgonyMum,

What you have mention that the high score of 296, is he/she from P2 this year.

For P2, do they have any SA1 or just SA2 only. How about the score of 296 is it consist of topical test .

Anyone knows how the school allocate the class for P5. My kid told me that there are two best class Care and Charity only. Faith is not the best class for next year P5.

Hi Musicstar,I think there may be some misunderstanding as my child came home today and told me the score of 296 was not true.He misheard.More likely around the vicinity of 292-293....so blur,my son.Hai~

For P2,they have SA1and SA2 plus many blood-sucking bite-sized \"tests\" which are supposed to be beneficial with regards to the holistic development of the kids. All these are taken into consideration with different weightage. The combined score for a whole year's work reflect the academic performance of the pupils in the report books. It rewards consistency and the all-rounders.
I am sorry I can't help you with the P5 class allocation ๐Ÿ˜ž My kid is only in P2 this year but as I have mentioned before,do not be too concerned with whether your kid is in the best class or whatever. If your child's class has a good form teacher, all the kids under his or her tutelage will definitely improve regardless of the ability or results.Hope that helps!
