Yep, mine also pinoy. I find her too much at times but when I complained to DH all these times, he will try to resolve it by saying "why dont we talk to her, why dont we do this and that" until I give up talking to him sometimes. I am not that sort who like to scold. (yes, i scold my kids but never the helper). Whatever mistakes she made in her work all these yrs, she nvr get any scolding fr DH or me. I flared up first time over the HP issue cos she argued back and deny even tho i got full eveidence she had been using extensively. The second time was what I described yesterday. Cannot "ren" anymore. DH was recently fed up after 2 of his favourite pants were spoilt by her cos she went to wash them when she should know they shld be dry clean cos these pants had been with him for many years. Of cos, there are many other reasons such as the shouting at kids, repeated reminders not to use hp when looking after kids, slackening of work and most importantly, the audacity and lack of humility.

              hi 24hr mum

the long time in toilet is very common. for mine, its half an hr in afternoon and another half hr at nite sometimes 45mins.

Can i check with u abt the date of transfer? I hvnt rec any IPA letter yet but her very pushy agent told me it has been approved and want to pick her up on Saturday. But I thought she can go only on transfer date? Is the transfer date calulated as 7 days from date that the agent submit the transfer form or 7 days from date of approval? Thanks

Mine is Indo… for her, its not so much black face… but more of laziness… and complete disregard of my clear instructions which she fully understands… just lazy to do and refusal to follow…

wow...that bad. i think better send her off quickly. now maids think they high class siah....

with those rights that govt proposed, i think we are at the losing end at the end of the day.

                  SMH FOREST:
PrincessAriel, I'm calling agencies up today to see what they have... definitely not going back to this current maid's agent as all she tells me is to get a replacement. The previous time I called her to talk abt maid's behaviour, she wanted me to get 1 transfer maid who was rude to agent herself when I was on the phone! No way am i going to get such a maid right? So, I concluded that my agent isn't really looking to find the right one for me and i shdnt get into more trouble by using her.

With another change of maid, it will be my 4th maid for the year... Sigh.. after my maid of 2 years left, the first one had bad attitude, but we stuck on for abt 2-3mths.. but alas, she had a fall.. and cldn't work anymore.. sent her to hospital, the A&E doc says nothing wrong with her scan etc.. as she cldnt work anymore, we sent her off.. 2nd we took a transfer maid.. said she is ok w the occassional help out with our kid.. but didnt interact w him or helped out at all.. she wanted to go w/in a week. and this current 3rd one.. been tahan-ing her laziness and white lies... but seeing the state of the housework and her constant disregard of instructions.. i think i can no longer live with the fact tt im paying her w/o getting things i wanted done...

That’s the reason why some employers always change their maid after 2 years in the past. Now employers live with it because they worry the next maid will be worst than the current maid, they think the maid will change after talking to them, lazy to re-train, hard to get experienced maid now with most of them leaving for HK & Taiwan.

Peapot, not forgetting that MOM penalises employers by making them go for class and interview if they change the 5th maid within a year... but they don't penalise a maid even if they change 12 employers within a year!! I didn't say this, but 1 agent that I spoke to yesterday reflected this to me after I warned her that it will be my 4th maid next... :gloomy:

                        Yes, always employer’s fault.
