What CCA did you join? Is Wushu very siong if not on the school team? I want my DD1 to build up her phsical strength and for character development.

My CCA is Infocomm Club. If your child wishes to learn further about technology, you could sent him in here but he would need to be P3 and need him to do a test.Selected pupils would hence could join our club .

Really, there would not be any pressure because i had been there since P3(i was selected) and as long your child has the interest for IT and know basic functions of the computer and Mircosoft, they can participate in the Schools Digital Media Awards, Microsoft Office Expert/Specialist.

Teachers in charge of CCAs would also invite you to help them design their CCA Poster too. I designed the CO's poster and i am gald that was totally approved by the teachers. This year, one of our CCA members also got the 1st for Microsoft Office Expert and Merit for Microsoft Office Specialist in Singapore! :rahrah: (that wasn't easy) I got in to MOSpecialist but couldn't participate due to the tight schedule.

Okay, let's change topic---- Wushu right?
Yes, wushu is our strength, our niche! :nunchuk:
If you are not sure how is Wushu like, no Problem because every P2 @ HWS would get to learn wushu. Since every P2 learns wushu, Wushu members has been increasing tremendously!!! :boogie:
If you have been performing well for wushu, you could participate in competitions and received awards!!! Last time when i was @ assembly, the wushu members were announced that they got medals and medals till i :skeptical: . Which sec school are you looking at?

What is the most popular stall in the canteen?

I wished to enter Crescent Girls' (CCA reasons :evil: )but i know it's too far. Or else Nan Chaiu, TKGS, TKSS, CCHM, ZHSS would be equally good.

Now, the rather popular stall would be the 2nd stall, which is the noodle stall, nice taste :rahrah: but a little expensive to the P1s because they might be buying $1- $2 per bowl (IMHO)
Rice stall is NG since the previous owner left. Previous owner cooked well and also set a reasonable price for us. Now, not only the rice is very hard and i had choked twice , the price is like ..... and the food is not very nice like before. But this is my opinion. Many still buy from the rice stall.

A lot of stall owners changed so i didn't quite like the taste.

IMHO, the vegetarian stall is nice (to me) and price's reasonable. if you are not a vegetarian, you can also eat because their food is not only for the vege ones! Their Maggie noodles is fried and not boiled with water and turns out to be nice. Children could buy from $0.50 --- $whatever.
The fried rice and cha shao rice are only like $0.80, not :moneyflies: huh.

Thanks SAHM_TAN, my son borned in 2007, which means he is in 2014 P1 batch. Guess I will need to start PV from 2012 onwards. Have called up the general line, a nice lady advised that the application form can be obtained from the security, and registration starts in Jan.

Hmmmmm if all P2 will get to learn wushu, maybe I will let her try something else. But today she was rather set on wushu. Dunno why since we do not expose her to it.

I felt reassured after listening to the P's speech.

The kids demostrating the various CCA are so cute

When I saw a boy hugging a doll, I was :? , then I saw that all P1 kids were given a HW student doll

DD1 said she liked the school, so that's one less worry for me.

DH likes the school too and he wish he can learn the guzhen

The classrooms look rather big or is it becos it's been too long since I entered into a classroom.

Aww... The batch 2012 P1's will use our blue coloured nametag... I had been waiting for them to take over our blue nametag! Yay, we have 2nd Generation~ LOL

No Problem. Your kid will be safe @ school and a kindly reminder that the P5s(or P3s--lesser chance) will be your kid's buddy during recess to buy stuffs. You may ask them about your kid's behaviour. Gd' Luck!~ :imanangel:
