      Serendipity:
I see. But I thought Berries was even more expensive? :?

Hope your kid is enjoying himself/herself at Berries. 😄
Maybe Berries is slightly cheaper than Eduplus, I need to check as I was doing some research of chinese lang centre where sourcing for N2 program.

So far I do not have the chance to see the materials from Eduplus even if I have requested. So far my kid enjoy in Berries & guess would continue to put until end of K2.

I have heard good feedback about Eduplus as well. Just wondering if they have any branches in the North?

          Hi,

Which location you are looking at. They have one in Bishan central and Bishan St22.

My DS2 was with Eduplus for 1 term before we moved him to Berries for convenience as DS1 is with Berries. I find that Eduplus is more academic focus so preschool kids may find Berries lesson more fun. H/w, what I like about Eduplus is that every now n then they will tape their 1 to 1 conversation session with your child n email to you. In this way, we get to hear how our child is doing at the lessons.

The teachers at the ulu pandan cc centre seems to be very caring n encouraging also. I have seen how they encouraged their older kids who are taking major exams.

              Hi all,

What would you recommend for a second Chinese enrichment session? My brother in P5 is attending class at Eduplus once a week and also has a private tutor, but we're thinking of dropping the tutor and giving him a second class session instead. The tutor has taught him for a few years but he sometimes can't understand her Chinese explanations 😓 and doesn't retain what she teaches very well (because of a lack of revising). I think class teaching is more structured and effective.

He doesn't have enough exposure to words outside the textbook and it's hard to get him to read storybooks, though I've bought him 笑猫日记 and a few other books and try to read with him. His compositions are also quite weak - the language he uses is very simple. He watches a bit of Taiwanese/Chinese dramas on TV at dinner time, but not enough.

I was thinking of sending him to an oral or composition class at Eduplus, Story Island, Tien Hsia, or anywhere in the North. Preferably one which encourages students to practise speaking so they feel more comfortable using the language. Stories and multimedia are a plus. He needs more exposure to Chinese to get him into \"Chinese mode\" more often. Would be grateful for any suggestions or advice!

This thread is very quiet… Any parents here whose kids are currently attending Eduplus at Bishan St 11?? Would love to hear your thoughts about them…

                      Hi All

I am thinking of enrolling my girl who is going K1 next year to eduplus in ulu pandan branch. Any review on this school? I think now the popular is Tian Xie or Berries. So wondering if eduplus is good as don't have much review on this school? Thanks so much. 🙂
