Hi, i am a newbie here. Got to know about this forum while seraching thru the net for a chid care center near my house. Though my username is \"mummy06\" i dont have 6 kids. I only have 1 child
He is 13 months+ now but i was already hunting for a child care center as i encountered a center with 26 people on waiting list...dont know how long i have to wait to get my son enrol. -

Hi mummy06, of course nobody would believe you even if you say you have 6 kids these days . I took it to mean your child is born in 2006.
Welcome to KiasuParents.com. 26 people on the waiting list for childcare? You probably are trying for one of the premium ones. Which childcare are you shooting for? Do you really think it is really worth the wait? -
Hi... my son was born in yr 2007. i choose the figure \"06\" as its my lucky number.

No...comparing childcare services, NTUC is considered affordable, but comparing food, Macdonalds is a rip-off! But then again, 'affordability' is in the eyes of the beholder.

The NTUC childcare is nearer to my house thus its the main priority. My colleague who lives near me went to check out with the same NTUC about 6 months ago and was told they have 50+ on the waiting list.
Ridiculous right?
Now i am trying to look around at other childcare centers… etc cherie hearts and bright kids which is further away. -
