I bought 3 sets uniform and 2 set PE Attire.

I get to know a mother from my gals class (She has a elder gal in the school (P5 next yr).
Actually P2 they will start to stream the kids into gd classes.
P3 stream again.

I was quite shock on the Chinese streaming in 3rd term.
And they start HCL so early.

But like some mummies say is gd to start early.
Their foundation will be there.

Hope can get to know more mummies on the first few days
of school.

I put my DD1 in Tein Hsia and her Chinese did improve but not to excellent yet... But also hope she can get into HCL in Term 3 next year...

I tot the teacher will be the same for 2 years and no changing? :?

I only know that P3, they will go to diff class according to their standard... :nailbite:

Can we know which is the Best Class from P3 onwards?
Is it the last 3 classes?
Example 9 classes: Then it will be 3G, 3H and 3I.

Can I ask for advice on enrollment here?

We currently reside with my parents, just beside BPPS, but come the time our flat is ready 2015, it will be when we have to enroll my daughter in a primary school.

Would we still be able to enroll my daughter in BPPS based on proxy?
Can I declare my parents as the primary care giver so my daughter has a place in the school?
Do we need to start volunteering now?
Does her being in a childcare near the school play a part in the application?

FYI. This year P2B, there is a balloting within 2km (2005 batch).
Every year, there is a balloting within 1km in P2C.
If you are using your parents add, it will be within 2km.

If is under P2C, your chances is 0%.

Maybe you can try other school like Beacon or Greenridge...

1. Both DS in Busy Bee creative writing class, very good for their Chinese essay ...
2. Depends, may or may not change.
3. Both my DS changed their classmates every year. I still remember when my DS1 was in P2 after his P1 \"streaming\", the first day of school, the teacher asked how many got 1st in class in P1 and when he turned his head around, almost the whole class raised up the hands ! He told me \"stressed\" !

Yes, this year P3, for example, 3F, 3G, & 3H are the top 3 classes. As long as you remain in top 3 classes, you should be fine.

I heard Beacon is also a very good school although it is \"young\" in age. Quite a few of my neighbours' kids are there.

wow,personally i think change class every year may not be too good especially for girls who are more emotional…after building good friendship got to say sayonara to them …i know some girls get affected when their good friends are in different class from them,

it is true that best teachers n resources will be assigned to best class? bpps has remedial class for all students or only the weak 1…starting from p1?

D Busy Bee is it locates at railway mall? i called up quite sometime ago i tot the class is quite big like 12 to 15 ? may i check the resources is good or the teacher?

oh… they r good in chinese composition and comprehension ??? i am looking for 1 for my ds going p3. He is quiet…i am afraid big class may not benefit him.

Wow ... P2B... erm is it phase 2 B ??
I'm sorry... very new to the forum.... and ... i honestly have not read up about primary school yet.

Today's my little girl 1st day in childcare ...
and ... hai ... grow up so fast ...

anyone know where i can start to read up on primary school enrollment criteria?
Also ... would anyone happen to know if I have to change my IC address as soon as I get my HDB flat keys? Or can I renovate and leave my current address till after primary school enrollment?
