Thanks Dnls_mum. My son did tell me earlier that his teacher showed them the record but so much was missing in his. It was stated that he only has 1 CIP hr. The old newspaper collection cip that they carried out at tiong bahru was also not recorded. Among other things, he also helped out during the open house, and the hrs was also not recorded. I thought there would be some kind of print out so that parents can help to monitor over the 4 years.[/quote]
Oh dear! My son says he has 80+. Each time they take part in an activity, they need to let the teacher IC take their attendance and record the CIP. If they just attend without ensuring that their attendance is taken, there will be no record

Hi, anyone knows the fastest / shortest route to get to SJI from Yishun via public transport? Heard there’s a direct bus - 855 that goes from Yishun Bus Interchange to SJI with a duration of 30mins. Is that true? Tks in advance.

Suggest u can try MRT from Yishun to Toa Payoh (17 mins) then walk to bus stop outside the bus interchange, take 105/153 (3 bus stops, about 10 mins) to reach SJI.

855 does not go to SJI, if you still want a bus route might have to take 851 to thomson road then change to 132/156.

Does anyone know what’s the chances of getting into SJI with aggregate score of 241 in this year’s PSLE?

I called the school and was told that we can usually base on the previous year’s COP to apply. Last year’s COP was 241, but knowing that they are going into IP from 2013, was wondering if the COP will go up this year?

I have always held SJI in high regards after seeing so many fine gentlemen produced by the school among our peers. But after reading some of the recent posts, am a little doubtful as the new leadership seems more focus on other agenda. Hope I have misunderstood.
