Does this apply to other schools ? Will all schools get a similar list with students who make it to 2nd round but never get into GEP ?

If your child make it to 2nd round, you will definitely know cos you will receive notification to go for the 2nd round test. After the 2nd round test, MOE will notify via the schools those who make it to GEP. Thereafter, MOE will finally give a list of those students who qualify for twinning program to the school. That's what I understand. As far as I know, only Nan Hua and Nanyang has this twinning program.

      Oh, I see, thank you.

        Hi parents,

my son is born in 2007. i am planning to shift to clementi and within 1km to nan hua. i have some questions as follow:

        1. when does the PV registration start for nan hua?
        2. What is the PV acceptance rate?
        3. What is the P2B balloting acceptance rate?

just trying to access the risk as clementi does not have much alternative if i dun get into the school n P2B. only qifa.

any comments will be good. thanks

I know it's quite tough to get accepted as PV in Nan Hua and even if you do, there is balloting for PVs too. I don't have figures though, my info are all anecdotal.

I think the PV registration for 2007 is close... Correct me if im wrong
You may want to go to the website and check...
For NHPS, you have to be professional in some industry to be accept by them.
As for the balloting P2B this year is within 1km if im not wrong...

This year NHPS did well in the PSLE.

Top student 276, among the top 17 in the country.
                    Top 10 all above 270.
Almost 40% with 250 and above, very near NYPS on this.

Noticed that nan hua’s intake has been reducing. Its P6 cohort used to be >310 students the last few years, then dropped to 290 last year, and only 280+ this year. Saw the numbers in its previous PSLE results details in its website (think they have over-written these info in current update).

Anyway, can anyone shed some light in its reduced intake? This year’s P6 did not reach its full enrolment of 290 students

I think it is because it has only one twinning class instead of two since last year.
