frontierer:

yay... i got my package too... was checking my mailbox everyday since 17 nov... so anxious... question is must we buy the black shoes and white socks from school?? maybe there's school logo, I wonder?

my boy's in 1 Joy... hope it's a \"happy\" learning environment for him... lol

ya not sure if there's any special requirement for the socks and shoes, so i think i will wait till orientation before i buy anything.

as for books, are they much cheaper than popular? if not, i will just buy from school bookshop.

looks like our kids are all in different classes! i haven't found any in ds2's class yet. also asked around his kindy classmates. none so far.

Maybe more FPS parents will be coming in later with DS / DD going to the same class as yours :rahrah:

Any idea what's this thingy about lunch packs :?

[Kabby]

dunno abt lunch packs. is it cos the canteen is not ready yet?

i was hoping to orientate ds on the canteen in the 1st week. but with lunch packs, no need any orientating huh?

[troubled]

I guess so too.....

DS will be disappointed cos he's really excited about the Canteen! :rotflmao:

Hi Kabby,
Sorry me this \"intruder\" comes by here to kapoh again!
Yeah - I like the word \"Joy\" aka \"Happiness\" . My DD1's has the word 乐 in her Chinese Character name :offtopic: :spank:

Kabby, if you have Popular card - you will have 5% off purchase of the textbooks

eh, its frontierer's child in 1Joy not mine.

is the popular 5% off cheaper or is the school bookshop still cheaper? have you compared before?

Hi hi,

I was wondering why parents decided to register their children in Frontier Pri, given it is a totally new school. Why didn’t they register their children in a school that already has a history? I’m curious as I’ll have to decide my children’s school soon. I stay very near Frontier Pri but I’m in a dilemma to choose between a totally new school or try for one with history of results. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to attend the soft launch of Frontier Pri. I really appreciate it if fellow parents can share their views with me. Thanks so much!

Hi,

There’s a online service provided by the bookstore at FPS where textbooks can be ordered and packed.

Delivery to house will cost $7 while delivery to FPS for collection on 17th Dec is free.

[Kabby]

:thankyou: for the info, troubled.

do we have to buy the full set if we order?
