Anyone watched Dog Whisperer last night? I found the robotic daughter with the over-enthusiastic mother rather funny.

Hi mummies and daddies,
My girl has been asking me for a pet for the longest time (her ambition is to be a vet). She is going to be P1 next year and I worry about her 3 min hotness. She assures me that she will be responsible, I feel that perhaps I should let her try. I used to have a dog but no other experience with other pets. Can anyone recommend a suitable pet for a young girl, some animal that is easy to look after just in case I become the de facto maid. -

I love cats. Very independent and easy to train. Mine did not even need toilet-training; self-trained.

I was thinking of a pet for my kid about a year and a half ago and decided on the hamsters cz they are great pets and easiest to take care (small cages, low maintenance, cheap food and easy to hand-over when on holiday) :imcool:
