[quote=\"Giggler1\"]Lexmark, my DD also in P1I class
I dun really like the teacher that's why feel so sad.
I was at the P1 Orientation too and saw the P1I teacher...actually I think you will soon grow to love the teacher. How I wish my son is in that class
She is indeed very dedicated and experienced...I have two kids(P6 and P4 in 2012) in the school so kind of know some of the teachers here. Don't worry, I think your child is in good hands.
What I know about this school is that the kids will grow as a cohort and gradually love the school more each year. My kids feel supported and happy generally. The best way I feel to know more about a school is to find out from kids in the graduating batch. I managed to get a chance to speak to current P6s and many talked so fondly about the school and their teachers. That's good enough info to this mummy at least:) :salute: -
bee_z_mummy, are we talking abt the same teacher? Dun think my gal's teacher is dedicated as you mentioned from my experience.

I might have read ur msg wrongly…the teacher i meant is the teacher deployed to teach 1i next year> 2012. Sorry

Hi bee_z_mummy,
Do you have more feedback? My dd will be in P1I .
TIA -
Hi Dec,
I suppose just be glad that u get an experienced teacher especially with the new mode of progressive assessment instead of semestral assessment. I shd be more nervous as my son’s teacher seems really new. No matter what, i just hope my kid will enjoy learning through the new curriculum style West Grove is adopting n don’t put too much stress for this busy mummy -
Thanks! I think most important they are happy and enjoy going to school:)
Hope they can adapt the environment fast !
Anyone know what is their higher score for PSLE this year? -
Dec:
There are 4 top scorers this year with the same T-score of 267.Thanks! I think most important they are happy and enjoy going to school:)
Hope they can adapt the environment fast !
Anyone know what is their higher score for PSLE this year?
5 students with 4A*
3 students with 3A*
These 8 students scored above 260. (7 from 6I and 1 from 6G)
We left the hall soon after so DS did not have the chance to check with his classmates; but my guess is that most likely, at least half in 6I got 250 and above.
During honours day (18th Nov), some students from P6 year 2010 were invited back to school and from their uniforms, there were quite a number from RVHS. Also saw students in RI, RGS, SST, Nan Hua uniforms. Did not recall seeing anyone in NYGH uniform. -
The other Primary School in Jurong West
Juying Primary top student T-score is 265 (confirmed)
Corporation Primary top student T-score is 262 (this is not verified, saw from forum)
Of course, everyone knows about Rulang … -
Just saw from JWPS thread said that their top scorer is 273!
WG average every year is 260+! -
not true, wgps yr2009 top scorer was 272.
