Just take standard level CL in Year 5/6. Very simple. Most of the kids score 7 for it. (7 being the equivalent of A)

Which means cannot take O level HCL at year 4, or else will not quality fo take standard CL at year 6 cos overqualified already.

If you want to boost your IB Diploma, taking standard level CL in Year 5/6 and IB CL at Year 4 is an easy option. Why not right? Easy and pretty.

Heard from DS that his GE friends with WL from RI and HCI which didn't materialise and do not make the COP all plan to appeal.

Guess it will be the same for most GE students in the same boat.
So looks like there will be an appeal frenzy..........

This year seems a bit tough for GE boys huh? First off, not that many COs and now not that many WLs converted to COs. Good luck on your appeal, ngbrdad!

Er … I got 254+2 for my PSLE.

Is it ridiculous for me to appeal to NYGH? I absolutely love that school, and I’ve heard that people with 252 got in before.

I am in such a dilemma........ Ds scored 257. If add HMT he will have 259.. Torn between putting either HCI or DHS as first choice. Both schools have the same COP. Should I choose either one as the first choice and forego the other one since the COP are the same?

Which do you prefer and which is nearer to your home? In terms of branding, HCI is definitely stronger. Choose one as first choice and the other as second choice. If you can't get into the first one, you'll be considered for the second. If you can't get into the second, put a safe third choice. No loss there.

My son's score is 259, I put 7001(ACSI) in the option list, then it shows ACS -O Level program, but what is the code for their IP program. Any comments?

Yah DH and myself were wondering what code to use for IP Prog too but in the end just put 7001 coz it's the only code there
