Mdm KY:
Wonder anyone know why the COP of RI/HCL is lower than the COP of RGS/NYGH?
Because girls probably do better at PSLE. -
robert:
Yah DH and myself were wondering what code to use for IP Prog too but in the end just put 7001 coz it's the only code thereThis is a really helpful website.
My son's score is 259, I put 7001(ACSI) in the option list, then it shows ACS -O Level program, but what is the code for their IP program. Any comments? -
Mdm KY:
Thanks for your info. Unfair to girls x_x. :faint:
No it isn't. You can always opt for a co-ed school which also have lower COPs than girls schools and some boys schools.Ms tay:

Majority of girls usually do better than boys

I just submitted the 6 choices on line. Can I still go to NUS high website to submit application???? concurrently?
Yes you can. NUSH conducts its own admission process. -

A bit difficult, bec their COP has been about 260. Students who get in at 250 are from their affiliated NYPS. I suppose you could always put it down as your first choice and try appealing after the posting results are out. But honestly, unless you excel in a certain CCA or have something concrete to offer them, your chances are low.Er ... I got 254+2 for my PSLE.
Is it ridiculous for me to appeal to NYGH? I absolutely love that school, and I've heard that people with 252 got in before. -

Hi Snow Crystal,
May I know which group of students will be placed in GEP class and what is the difference between the gep and non gep class.
Best Regards,
JoySnow Crystal:
There is no lousy class!! If same as last year, lowest scorer is 260 my dear. Not far from your score. You will not be placed in GEP class that's all. No sports class in RGS.chatterbox321:
:congrats: to all students that have done well in your PSLE!!
Umm may I know if I go to RGS with a t-score of 265 excluding HMT, will I be in a lousy class? -
GEP class consists of those from Primary GEP and high-performing mainstreamers. Their curriculum may be a little different and they will learn things at a faster rate.Hi Snow Crystal,
Primary school students in GE who DSAed into RGS are all in the GEP classes. The GE students+ sec 1 posted students who scored 269 and above in PSLE. I think the score changes every year though.Hi Snow Crystal,

So far i feel that there isn't any difference in the GE and Non-GE classes because what we are taught is the same. There were 5 GEP classes this year.
I'm an RGS girl btw:) Sec 1 this year going sec 2:P -
