      LangMum:
      I need some advise here.

My DS is a gepper with score 258, with co into dhs, was rejected by hci.

If distance is just as far, should we stick with dhs or try to appeal into hci.

Ngbrdad mention that hci has a better branding. Is branding of a sch important? Does it affect the childs chances for scholarship in future if all things being the same?

Also program wise, which is more suitable and interesting for gepper?

Understand, hci is better in humanities, what about dhs?

Need all your expert advise. If u are in my position what will u do?
Hi, Langmum, I have pm you. πŸ˜„

How about letting him read the literature text? It's not like he's studying bec he'll be reading a novel.

Or how about reading Times magazine, National Geographic. Trust me, these are more important, if you want your child to stand out among all the perfect scorers in a few years when he finish sec school. Think long term, we want our kids to be great thinkers, not bookworms.

DS case is like yours, but at least he still has a mei mei to bug. But he still wants me to play with him as he find mei mei too easy to be annoyed or give up. DS is interested in science, and the secondary school section is where he usually end up when we are in bookstores. I know school text are boring and I really don't want him to burn out. So I buy him science books that are written in the fun way, such as those from \"Dummies\" series.

someone mentioned that in Yr 3 HCI, fees will increase.

is that true for all independent schools ? RGS ?
Sorry i am a bit blur, is the EESIS applicable for the full 6 yrs of study or does MOE review the child’s performance annually before deciding whether to continue to grant the scholarship ?
              thank you !

Not yet. Think better don't buy so early. Holidays still not over. Put on weight and he won't fit into the new uniform. πŸ˜†

                        Have you bought yours?
