Regarding EESIS for GEP, the students must op for IP in an independent school is it ?

Then why is SJI and MGS on the list of approved schools for EESIS during the GEP briefing ?

Okay, confirmed. The EESIS COP this year is 260. I got it straight from MOE.

So these couple of years the EESIS COP has hovered around +/- 260, give or take a couple of points. If the top 10% is also 250 this year, then it seems to imply that MOE does a cut off at around 260 for top 3% and around 250 for top 10%.

In earlier years EESIS was higher though.
If I am not wrong, only after the posting MOE will be able to know who qualified for EESIS. Top 1/3 IS students. At this stage, nobody knows how many will be in IS schools, right?

To make use of EESIS, you must be enrolled in an independent school PLUS be in its SBGE programme. SJI and MGS are both independent schools with SBGE programmes.

This question was already answered elsewhere. All students who qualify for EESIS have been informed together with their PSLE results. Whether you get to use your EESIS award is dependent on whether you opt to enrol in an independent school. If you don't, you don't get to use your EESIS award.
