Juz wonder what’s the cut-off point for NUSH PSLE 10% admission for 2011 ?

Last year was the highest 264, guess this year will be lower b’cos there are more IP school intake options available (eg Cedar-VS IP programme).

From what I know, you cannot enter NUS High based on PSLE alone.

Given, you can enter NUS High after PSLE in the last phase, it’s not that simple.

Previous criteria has included
1. Minimal 250
2. A* in Math and Science
3. Interview

The cut-off point is not important. The given cut off point was only the PSLE score of the student who got in after going through all the admission steps. In other words, even if the cut off point is 264, having a higher score does not guarantee you a place for that same year.

Times might have changed though

Hi,

Need help from NUSH parents/ students.

For third language option, do we need to fill in the MOE third language option form? Or apply directly to the school on matriculation day?

Also, are there any restrictions on the type of shoes the students can wear? Can wear running shoes? any color? brand?

TIA 🙂
And on a related topic, students/parents; please also advise how many types of uniforms and PE attire are there. Based on your experience, how many sets to buy ?

Thanks !

The following should suffice

1 set of formal uniform with tie, (wear once a week)
1 set of PE attire (once a week)
3 set of informal uniform (3 set for 4 days)

For shoes, no need to be completely white, school is not very strict on this as long as they are not flashy

One other tip, if you want to avoid the crowd during matriculation, you can
get the uniforms directly from InTrend Uniforms, a shophouse located along Geylang Road, opposite Lorong 24. It is NUSH's official uniform supplier. You can try out the uniform leisurely.
May I know the opening hours or contact no that I can call ? Thanks.

Dear all,

Thank you for your interest in used textbooks. We are consulting with graduating students and hope to have a full inventory with prices for your perusal in a few weeks.
Any update on the inventory list with pricing ? Thanks ! Will they be the same as the book list that we will be receiving on matriculation day ?

Thanks for the link.

Is the PE attire same for all or will the students be grouped into different "house"/"group" that need different PE T-shirts ?

PE attire is the same for all, worn during weekly PE lesson. House Tees are worn during house activities.

Can I just confirm in case I buy wrongly :

1. PE Attire : PE T-Shirt & PE Short (1 set)
2. Informal Attire : Polo T-Shirt & Bermudas (3-4 sets)
3. Formal Attire : Shirt & Long Pants & Tie (1 set)

Thanks !
