Both are Band 5 schools, which means that students score an L1B5 average of 14 points. I’d say Presbyterian High too, because it is affiliated to SAJC.

                    Hi,

I graduated from Ang Mo Kio Sec and I think I have benefitted from the school's programme .

Ang Mo Kio has slipped abit last year, but nonetheless, it says alot about a school, when the taking in students with a lower COP than PHS, that it has consistently produce results better or on par with PHS.

In 2010, Ang Mo Kio was ranked Band 4 in Express Stream, while PHS was ranked band 5. you can check out the MOE source in 2010 :
                    http://www.moe.gov.sg/media/press/files/2010/moa-annex-e1.pdf

Before the school achievement table was introduced, Ang Mo Kio was ranked the best non-autonomous school in whole singapore, which is makes it the best government school. Now, MOE had already do away with this. Check sources:
                    http://www.moe.gov.sg/media/press/1997/pr03097_print.htm
                    http://www.moe.gov.sg/media/press/2000/pr05082000.htm

If you are saying about Character Education, AMKSS focus alot on character development as well. It is through the school education system, that I really come into interacting with the senior citizens and having a strong sense of giving back to the community.

Just my point of sharing. Hope it helps 🙂 and all the best!
