I agree with u interest is more important,but they have to remember the concepts as well.My son likes to study or learn science.For the last SA2(P3),he forgot some concepts and i also forgot to tell him the concept.This time he improved in section B.He lose marks(10) in section A.Hi all mummies,
dont get too overanxious over science for P3. Dont frighten ur p3 kids. They need tb excited over the subject and not frighten by it,pls....
I nvr do that to my daughter, for her p3 and P4 reults she always been getting 888 and above. Interest is the most impt....
When I take a new topic, I read with his school book.I feel is easy then after doing assessment books,I feel I don't know anything then I learnt the concept from the qn.Sometimes one guidebook also not sufficient.

I thnik most impt also the child must know how to answer trhe questions and apply the skills. If not no point doing all these assessment book!!!

P5 use a diffeernt set of TB. But basically my girl never read TB, I just buy for the sake of buying. She still managed to score 90 plus marks for SA2 exams

I thought the purpose of assessment books is to help the child to learn how to answer the questions and how to apply the concepts?

The purpose of assessment book is to expose them to many difft types of qns. But most impt, the child must know answering techniques. if not, he still will not score in exams
