Hi, I would like to ask Choco05 for advice re how many sets of uniform to buy ? Maybe you can share with me how many sets you own?
My DD also wanted to find out does RGS allow shoes other than the usual white school shoes that were worn at primary schools? During my time at RGS (eons ago paiseh), we were also allowed to wear Ascott brand (doesnt exist anymore i think!) shoes or other brands of track shoes but it has to be white and only dark blue designs on it are allowed.
Thanks for your help

The girls wear pinafores 4 days a week. They're allowed to wear culottes and t-shirt once a week (Tue or Wed can't remember which). They can wear their culottes and t-shirts to school on Saturday for CCA, House Practice, other classes. So, depending on how fast you wash and iron your clothes, 2-3 sets of pinafore and one set of culottes should suffice. Do note that during Orientation week the girls will be in culottes for most of the week so you'll have to wash and iron the culottes every day if you only have one set.Hi, I would like to ask Choco05 for advice re how many sets of uniform to buy ? Shoes should be predominantly white. It can be any brand. If there are accent colours on the shoes, these should be no more than 10%, or was it 20%? I leave my dd to do her own things now so don't bother with all these nitty gritty details.

You'll be given the details on registration day. You can fill up the form indicating that you want to take the bus service and drop it off at the general office.

Oops I just woke up:P good morning:) and yes, I have 3 sets of blouse & pinafore, 2 sets of pe & shorts and 2 culottes. Culottes can be worn on weds. Shoes must be 80% white, any brand whatsoever. Socks must be totally white(strangely even the soles) or the rgs ones. Though you will be given 2 pairs in orientation. Rgs socks are like $7 a pair from prefect room and wears out easily.

Don't forget to buy a blouse with slightly longer sleeves cos you need to fold them:)
Bus transport to moelc is available. $55 a year if I am correct. Cheap cos distance is near.
