collected the books from the bookstore.

        abit dis-orderly.

as there is no numbering system, the last guy who came got served first. so if U collect from bookstore, need to know when U arrive.

I ordered online, but some of the books are out of stock. Social studies/Heath Education. Need to get them when school starts.
KCPPS subject file, I seems to have ordered 5, but primary 1s only needs 3.

better go while low traffic as U need to check everything.

and there was a guy selling those black shoes outside.

As for the nametags, I did not have a chance to ask, sorry.

          Wah... Not so systematic...

I also order online. I thought they will give us all the books & not partially. If there's the case, I should buy the books from popular & it's cheaper. Lesson learned!

Do you know the school bookshop opening hour?

                  deardear07,

is the skort supposed to cover the knee? Just collected the uniforms and it does seem odd for the skort to be covering the whole knee. But the waist is fine. Did u change in the end?

hahahaha...i got quite a shock when dd changed into her uniform. she looked like she was so short - top and skort was thought to be overly long. top cover backside and skort covering knees but uniform lady claimed that the school wanted it that long. so i guess that should be it.

i was seriously considering altering but in the end, better don't.

i got dd the smallest size - the next size was too loose and long. think she'd be in this size for a year or more.

dd's smallest size PE set - top was a little big and long but tuck into shorts so shud be ok. shorts i got the 2nd smallest size coz tucking in. a little loose and tied so shud be ok.

name tags collect only when school reopens… but if i remember correctly, itz 5sets. but y 5? only need to paste onto uniform, not PE set right?

i bought raymax shoes in the end…coz after going to shops and looking at adidas/ nike quality, it does seem like it could give way after some runs. no double stitching or such so can end up with sole detachment.

bought dd the cross trainer version coz she is generally more active and will move more. so get her a better pair for better physical activity coverage and quality.

my comment about the skort is i don’t understand why it should be that long and also, the pants inside is the same length as the skirt outside. Just looks so weird. also, i wonder if they got feedback from parents on the design. I find it hard for p1 kids to handle the skort when they go toilet. I think i can expect my girl to find it hard

to manoveur the skort and not dirtying while in the restroom. Haiz…

Also, for the same size, the skort is so much longer and wider in size when compared to the PE shorts. just very weird to have such disparity.

If i remember correctly, PE shirt also need to put on name tag. I think set of 5 is to cater for those who have 1 uniform for each day of the week!

Raymax is brand that came during orientation? I tot they only have 1 design that day? As in you don’t have a choive right?
