2011 PSLE Result : Appeal to MOE to review the Test Result
-
I need advice. How is this possible? B for Maths.
Any parent in similar situation?
Any parent ever request MOE to re-mark paper? What is the outcome?
TIA. -
Must go thru the principal and pay around $50 per subject.
I was really tempted to do it for my Ds’s English paper.
Now it’s too late to do anything. -
I think a B in Math will affect the aggregate greatly. A friend’s son got a B for Math last year and got only 195. However, if your child has been consistently performing well in math, I see no harm in paying $50 to get the paper checked. All the best!

I thought parents can only asked to check papers but not to have papers
re-marked. dd’s teacher said that if there is request to check papers, officials from moe will do the checking, parents are not allowed to see the papers at all. -

1st Nov? But I thought the psle results was released only recently? -
Not to re-mark. You pay to re-check the paper.

just wondering if anyone has done this before and managed to update the new score (assume there’s really marking error)…

Sounds possible to get 257 with 3a* n 1a. He may be getting weak a* and strong A.
For science, each marker only marked one page of the science open ended, so the probability of marking many of the questions wrongly is not that high. Just my opinion.
