I guess, my DS would not have any chance appeal to HCI. As he was already accepted by ACS(I) via DSA. For RI, with T-Socre 256, I guess it is almost impossible.
Will ask my DS to accept the reality and encourage him to work hard in ACS(I).
Checked with RI, standard answer, everyone are welcome to submit the application via the Supplementary Intake, regardless what is T-score, with or without S1 option form. They will review case by case and look for someone who has special talent. So already submitted application via \"Supplementary Intake\". -

Top 10% = 250 and above (entry point for many IP schools or to-be IP schools)
---about 4500 kids
Top 3 % = 260 and above (bench mark for EESIS)
---about 1350 included in the 4500 above
so, if you look at HCI+NYGH+RGS+RI = 1800 vacancies...and not all above 260 will choose any of the the top 4 ...... hence the cop for the top four should be around 260 and difficult to be much higher except for the odd one with affiliation but then the number of girls from NYPS with scores above 250 is about 100 only -

235 about 66%-ile
250 about 90%-ile
265 about top 1-2%
The T-score is nothing but the normal distribution. Sorry I was just too lazy to go and crunch the numbers to precision, it is about there lah. -

So only 900 seats for non-DSA? My son got 268, how much possibility?

HCI - 2nd choice

no lah, the sports and arts DSA are around 50 or there about, won’t call it a lot; even then some of the sports DSA kids also scored very high like above 255 and won’t be placed in the sports class
