Do u mind if I ask whether yr DD was from a co-ed school? Was just trying to \"survey\" whether GeP branch post kids base on the type of schools they were from first, followed by whether the kid came from SAP or non-SAp.

If I remember correctly, letters received r not fm moe, but fm respective schools with reporting details n booklist attached. Not sure whether it is the same this year.

The letter we received was from GE Branch not the sch.
Hence no details inside only the posting result, reporting date on 3 Jan 2012, 7:15am at the new sch plus need to bring report book to submit on 1st day.

So are we expecting for another letter from the sch itself?!?

Yes, the GEP school that the kid got posted to will send a separate letter. There should be a briefing in school for both parents & kiddos!

Yeah...the postman just came while my DS waiting at the letterbox.

He was so disappointed when he saw no letter of his. Only his dad's letter.
Despite of it, I OPENED his daddy's letter and there I found my DS's sch posting.
He is now so HAPPY as he got into his 1 and only 1 choice sch, he had made a hard decision to leave his current sch and frens.

My inference is priority is given to kids already studying in the GE centre, follow by distance, then SAP or non SAP, and boys/girls or co-ed school, religion etc..

Yes, she was from a co-ed school. We are also about 5km from the school.

My son come fr neighbourhood co-ed school. We chose NH as it's the nearest to home, within 1 km. In fact the place we stay got 3 primary school within 1 km. NH is in fact the farthest of all.

So which school is your 1st choice?
