You must have at least one pair. During Orientation Week you'll be wearing culottes every day. You won't be allowed to put on your pinafore yet coz you aren't officially an RGS student until you've had your badge initiation.

On certain days the girls will be required to wear house t-shirts etc with culottes. Especially for Year 1s, you will be wearing house Ts and culottes during House Practices.

No need. The name tag is a badge with your name printed on it with different colours to differentiate the different years.

          Meaning ....
          Need to Purchase Every Year?
Ha Ha .... More Biz for the Supplier šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰

No, each batch wears one colour. So you'll wear the same coloured badge for 4 years.[/quote]Ya, next year year 1s will get yellow:/ ours is black:D most matching with our uniforms.

i would like to know if the socks can be ankled socks or \"full-length\" ones. plus why do you wear culottes on wednesdays? is it compulsory ?

Socks must be visible when you wear your shoes. So ankle socks are okay provided they're not the super low types that look like you're not wearing socks.

You can choose to wear culottes or pinafores on Wed.

Hahahaha. I myself wear ankle socks. Then they got loose, even shorter, so it's kinda illegal. But as long as you can see it(even a bit) its ok.

              Hello parents,

I am a P6 GEPper next year, wanting to go to both NYGH and RGS, can anyone drop me some advice? You can also PM me

              TIA
You can try for DSA. GEP students usually stand a higher chance at DSAs.

Black against yellow background - wouldn't that make the names stand out even more?

However, there is a slight disadvantage. When in trouble, better :siam: fast, cos names easier to be spotted and taken down by prefects.

The prefects usually stop you, ask/write down your name and class then hands you a booking slip. :scared:

What do the girls usually get booked for? Will parents be informed? What kind of punishments? Hahaha...anything else you can tell us on related topic. Thanks.
