Wa! I dread that part of the journey which I know must go thru one day.

Me too! I have been telling myself that it's him & not me taking the exam so relax. Been telling that to him too so he knows who needs to put in hard work, not mummy surely! Mummy only needs to use mouth and give encouraging & supporting words! 😉 :rotflmao:

Hi mummy Flowermonaster, looks like I have one interested supporter for the Only Child Club (OCC for short) social network which we can meet and share our parenting experiences in person, and at the same time allows our only child to play and socialise with the other only-child kids.

If there are 3 or more keen, maybe I can arrange something. It doesn't have to be a big group for a start. Those keen can state your interest here, or if you are shy, can PM me directly. 🙂

        Hi Angelight

Count me in! My DS is 8YO. :rahrah:

Looks like most of your princes or princesses are abt 8 or 9 yo. Mine is only 4 yo, so the bigger ones gotta watch over the younger ones when they play together yah? 🙂

Got the dreaded question again at a social gathering when a friend asked me \"when are you going to have your second chapter?\" (meaning No. 2). She is a mother of 2, by the way.

Though I've always prepared myself for such insensitive question, it's still never easy to have to answer it. My heart pricked each time I tried to shrug it off with a \"Dunno, gotta ask the Big Man above\" reply...

Really wish that those with more than 1 kid would have more empathy and sensitive enough not to ask such insensitive question cos no matter how well meaning you are, your question will always hurt those with only 1 child, as most couples do not have only child by choice.
