I bought 2 chinese assessment books for my children, EPH & SAP. Do you think just 2 is enough or how many do you usually get? DS2 in P5 & DS3 in P1 next year. Tempted to buy more after seeing recommendations here. Thanks in advance!

I'll not be sending DD1 for any Chinese enrichment / tuition next yr. So I bought many guides for my own use. I only bought 2 titles for DD1 so wanted to look at this from Confucious Insititue.

Sure enough I had to check out that book ASAP.
However, I didn't get it. Going to use specific assessment book for each area he is weak in. Thanks for posting...it was much easier for me to find it.

For P1, I bought EPH P1A Chinese Daily Intensive Practice & EPH P1 Higher Chinese Complete Practice.
For P5, bought EPH P5A Chinese Daily Intensive Practice & 新亚-小五华文课文强化练习 5A. DS2 dislike Chinese & doing Standard Chinese next year.

I got this title for DD too but P4 level.

Hi 711mum, I fell in love with Victoria intensive (uploaded pic) and get it every year as this title is neither too simple nor difficult. SAP titles tend to be a little difficult especially from Wu Li Jun. It is counter-effective if my son is not happy doing any exercise from that book…compre passages are too hard. Tutor advises me to check out passage b4 getting him to attempt…those Qing, Ming dynasty passages are a little boring too.

Hi Janet, it is the first time I bought CL assessment book from this publisher, bought it coz I thought it is close to DD's school exam format
