Cedar is 248. And it’s going IP, so I guess the COP’s gonna increase.

I prefer paya lebar methodist, or chij toa payoh.

Why don’t you consider xinmin, tanjong katong sec or presbetarian high, chung cheng co-ed schs. They are gd too. Don’t worri about cop. Put your child’s dream schs as top 3 choices. But make sure the rest must be those she can get in. Otherwise, moe will post you to a nearby neighbourhood sch.

I was told by the pri school principal not to select schools that are more than 2 points above your child’s score as you won’t stand a chance. So below are my choices for her:

2. Paya Lebar Methodist (234)
3. Zhonghua (230)
4. Chung Cheng (Yishun) (231)
5. Presbetarian High (229)
6. CHIJ Katong (225)

Based on 2011-Sec 1 COP. Will plan to appeal for TKGS if cannot get in.

i think its a wise choice too ... lucky my girl went back to her affiliated sec school last year.

If it’s not too late, can consider Nan Chiau High? It’s a SAP school. Band 1/2.

DD didn’t get into 1st choice TKGS. This year COP was 235. Missed by 2 pts. Anyway, she got into 2nd choice PLMGS. Heard that TKGS appeal process will only reveal result at end Jan. By then DD would have got comfortable with PLMGS. Not sure is it a good idea to move her out then if the appeal result was successful. PLMGS seems like a good school too.
