Ever encounter kids who make you feel like wanna slap them??

Definitely, I can’t do anything if it’s not my side of family.
And I agree about not hitting as the first recourse.
I usually prefer 2 warnings 1st and then still cannot then discipline.
(provided it’s my side of family…)
But DH’s nephew, makes me feel like lost case.
Haiz…Cannot do anything, bo bian just limit DD’s contact with him -
I agree that sometimes parents might be \"helpless\" with their kids. Some kids behave in a certain manner due to their character. Parents can only guide them to behave correctly. But in extreme cases.... they really cannot control.
My son's classmate has 4 siblings. They used to stay in the same apartment as my parents. They stayed in a penthouse while my parents are 1 level. Recently, they moved to a landed property. The mother is a nice lady and she talks to my mum alot. She told my mum that her kids are driving her nuts and 2 of them are extremely naughty and she really dunno what to do.
During my son's bd this year, I packed goody bags for him. When he gave it to this girl, she said... so cheap, my house is bigger than yours (my parents's place). We got 2 storey and you only got 1. I was really surprised to hear that  First the goody bag is not cheap, it cost me $5 per pack. Chocs from candilicious and lots of solid goodies inside. Secondly, I would not want to go to the aspect of housing as that is only my parents' place and it's owned by us. We still have other property and even the one that we stay in is much bigger than their landed (if she wants to go to that extent). So I had to explain to my son and told him to just ignore her and don't need to talk to her too much. I also highlighted to him that girls of such characteristics are a big NO NO for his wife next time
But seriously.... I know my kids will never say such things to people as that is not in the upbringing. If I don't know the mum, I would wonder what kind of parents she has. I spoke to my mum about it and she was like.... yah the mum also has problem handling her. The mum will not teach her such things... it's probably just her character. But I still feel that it's not right for a 9 yr old to harbor such thoughts. What will she grow up to become???
Seriously, if my daughters are like her.... she will get it from me. That is just not right. -
Oh wow! Kids grow up fast!! Maybe also influenced by media. You know there are shows that’s really bad for kids like Paris Hilton show. You know the show about living out in a farm. Then there is the new Chinese show materialistic queen.

I've started to educate/ \"brainwash\" him that when he looked for a wife... cannot just based on looks or size of her \"assets\" , she must have a brain and she must be someone who is able to help him, etc... look pleasant is good enough of course cannot get a shock when he wakes up every morning right
lol... if the girl turns out to be a real beauty in future and he cannot resist, then how?MMM:

Also, watching those taiwan drama help as they will portray dil who are out to get the assets and will do all the nasty things behind the hubby and family's back. Eg. Old Xie Ming Ming in Ai. -

er.... just to add... from a feature pov, not really a beauty now but I know girls change when they turn 18

Yea, heard about my colleague's one, like MIL from cave ages... -
I was near the playground when I saw a 3 yo boy who screamed at any kid who went near to what he was playing. He screamed and screamed into the faces of the other kids and the grandma just smiled. This is a normal boy, I saw him many times when he behaves normally. He just doesn’t want to share the swing or slide.

MMM, I’m sure the kid picked up her behaviour from someone. Most likely an adult or older sibling. Sometimes kids listen to the adults talk and pick up bad manners that way. I always say an acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.
