          out-of-topic Sorry,

          ========

          Hi I kept all P1 text books & school work sheets all these days. Now it has become a bigger family with P2 bundle. Please some one advice me, do I need to keep them or can give them away?

          Thank you
          U no need to keep P1 books unless ur DD have siblings.Yesterday I read in paper can donate the used assessment books to Star Zest home tuition agency.

              I've bought Janet Sim's Challenging Science, any review on this?

              TIA.

              Good as all important concepts for each topic are included. Esp vy good for revision after each topic is taught to ensure good understanding of sc concepts & skills. personnaly feel that the book is very suitable for kids before trying 'TOP sch exam papers' which sometimes have a lot of amb qns & ans that may be vy confusing if the fundamental sc skills & concepts have not been built up using the assessment books.

                  HappyH, plumcake,

                  That book termed 'glass and ceramics' under natural materials. my other 2 guides categorise glass under man-made. (i only realised after reading from this forum).
                  having said that, one of the other guide and assessment book that i have also has error in other chapters.
                  i find the Casco Process skills to have a good summary/tabulation for reading purpose, but since then i got my boy to read at least 2 guides in one sitting to 'cross-check' the facts. πŸ˜“
                  just me being paranoid la. πŸ˜“

                        Still I am not clear with this ceramic is man-made or natural.I left out this type of qns.I think this qns are not tested in their papers.

                        How about the number of stages of mammals?I saw in some books they siad two.young----adult
                        In my pals are here, fertilised egg --- young---adult. In the concept map, stages of life cycle for animals divided into two stages life cycles and three stages life cycles.
