No, I got a DSA CO from RGS and I'm from my Pri sch badminton school team so I was interested in joining the badminton team there (plus my mother also wanted me to join :evil: ). I called the teacher in charge today and she said if I want I can join them for practice tomorrow. But I forgot to ask for the venue :oops: ... Anyone can help please? I only know the venue for the school time practice. Is it the same? Thanks !

Woah, that's good! Welcome to RGS! Uhh...my badminton classmate went overseas i think, sorry. Badminton is a good CCA(though it has sessions 4x a week!) You called the badminton teacher IC? Maybe you can call again to ask...

Jurong 226 (2010 cutoff); 228 (2009 cutoff)
BBSS 223 (2010 cutoff); 227 (2009 cutoff)
Hua Yi 222 (2010 cutoff); 225 (2009 cutoff)

any chance with 1st attempt?
any chance with appeal?

If it's my daughter, I will know the chance is slim but I will try. However, I'd make sure #4, #5, and#6 choices all have COP of less than 218.

I think it would be good if you could submit an appeal to the school of your 1st choice direct before the MOE posting comes out. At least then the school would know that you are geniune about sending your daughter there. Give it a go. All the best. do call the school and speak to someone regarding admissions.

Interestingly there was one case posted in the possible psle paper review thread that a girl who was consistently excellent in her Chinese grades in school, and even achieved a distinction in higher Chinese in this PSLE, only obtained an A for her Chinese.

The parents decided not to ask for a review in the end.

Indeed that's what I did. Else I do not want to be allocated a location that is very inconvenient.

They are different papers after all, so you may do well in one but not neccessary the other.

depend to each sch, some sch allow you to fill the appeal form but some don't & some even have the form on their sch website.

It was strange indeed !! :scratchhead: My ds told me that the hr Chinese paper in the psle was easier than normal chinese . However he score A* for Chinese and merit for hr Chinese .My ds was the 1st time score 4A*s in psle ,he also the 1st time score A*s for both languages!!!( eng and Chinese ) Usually he doesn't score more than 2A*s for all subjects :yikes:
