        Hi Janet

Science marking is quite lenient with spelling nowadays. They are looking for understanding in the concepts instead of spelling.

Thank you G Tan. I am really happy if they are not very keen with the spelling.

🕺 🕺 Am glad to hear that!

Remember during the last SA2 revision with DD1 - there is this term and spelling that I can't get it right 😆 and DD1 always has difficult remember it 😂 - Metamorphosis under the theme \"Cycle\".

My understanding from my dd’s science teacher is that if it is a scientific term that the quesition is testing on and the student spells it wrongly, marks will still be deducted.

I am not doing all the experiment that are stated in lower block.
My son prefer to do all those but i never let him to do.Lazy mom.
Sometimes they(kids) gave me more chores.
He has interest to see the changes like wanted to see how to do cake/cookies or even simple dishes. When he was in kindergarten I got a good book that stated simple experiments like water to ice.So I did with my son.
Now sometimes I surf in the net or has nap he has been doing experiments his own.Sometimes I got angry but can't show too much.I don't want discourage his interest.

Now for P3/4 we did bean growing as his T said its compulsory project. He asked us wanted to grow mould in bread.I didn't allow. He asked wanted to have a snail as a pet.We ban.We did inverted a container in the water. When I saw the qns,I quite didn't understand. So we did.
I heard from my son some of his classmates has snail and mealworm as pets.

I think before P3,u can expose more simple projects/experiments to make an interest in Science subject.JMHO.
