Too *cheem*. \"White House\"?
Hi phtthpphtthp:
actually what is the purpose of entering Sec schools via DSA in the first case ? what advantage of DSA does it bring ?
if after psle release results those with better results immediately quickly rush down to respective school & appeal, might as well just rely on psle & drop this whole idea of DSA, instead of now make DSA a mockery, defeat the whole purpose ?
if you say DSA is to identify CCA sports talents, to let academic talents enter school first, can't the same objective be achieved or met after the release of psle results, ie. (able to identify talents via CCA, or via particular subject academics + able to achieve at least minimum target COP) then can enter particular hot, popular top Sec school(s) ?
Good question, \"WHY DSA?\". Many people, schools, MOE can tell you tons of good reasons \"WHY DSA?\" Maybe, you would step back and think why MOE and the goverment approved DSA? Do you think that every \"White House' can get good T-Score in PSLE to enter the top schools? Don't you think that DSA is very good way for those \"White House\" enter the top schools via DSA without anyone talking at the back that \"even with such a T-score also can enter this school\"....
Think about it.....??? -

Well said! I agree with you. If really made the wrong choice thru dsa, then I guess have to make the best out of it. Otherwise, if someone's appeal comes through, then the others in the same boat would demand the same, then there'll be no end. Those who already got a confirmed offer just hve to make good their decision. All these appeals shld hve stopped completely. If no intention of studying in a particular sch, just don't excercise the offer in the first place. Jtoh, agreed completely with yr reasonings.
All those who appeal are giving lame excuses after all they are trying to waste MOE's resources. Personally, no time to entertain all these nonsense. -

Another few weeks this thread will be end soon , recently I realised that very less familiar members appear on this thread  天下没有不散的宴席 all the best everyone :grphug:
Don't worry, Ms Tay, we can always set up another thread 'dealing with life in secondary 1' to continue our children's next chapter of life

Yes, this year has really taught me patience. First we had to wait for the the dsa results (not successful), then the prelims, then end of PSLE, then we had to wait for the results, and now....wait for posting results.
