Do we need to buy the both sets of chinese text books or just the higher chinese text books if DD is taking higher chinese?

I bought both sets for my DD. But my DD told me only Higher chinese books needed. I have to exchange other books.

My current understanding is as follows:


1. Based on P3 results, the girls will be grouped into P4 classes;
2. Based on P4 results, the girls will be grouped again at the end of P4 to new P5 classes;
3. The girls will stay at the same class for P5 and P6.

Can any parents of upper primary girls kindly help to enlighten if the understanding is correct?

Yes, u r correct. Introduction of subject base banding frm P4 to P5. My girl was grouped into a different class after P4, 2 of her good friends are in different classes but they meet in the same maths class. The class remain the same in P6.

They used to call it EM3 but renamed it to foundation few years back.

Actually if dd is selected for HMT you only need to buy HMT books.
