Hi everyone, am new here as DS will be joining HCI next year! He got in via DSA sports & I m worried whether he can cope with e hectic academic schedule in HCI… as unlike RI or ACSI cos they have DSA sports class. Anyone can advise?

You may want to monitor him closely in term of his time management. According to my DS in year 2, 3 of his classmates via DSA sport were transfer to 'O' level class in year 3. God Bless!

For those eventually take 'O' Level, they take it as HCI students and I heard many of them do very well and join the rest in HCI Year 5. Even though some of these students entered HCI through DSA via sports, it is a mixed group, including those who did very well in PSLE and entered through S1 posting.

Chandelier, I have 2 sons in HCI. From what I observe, there is not much correlation between PSLE scores and academic results in Sec school. If your son has 25x in PSLE, he has equal chance of doing well in HCI compared to those with 26x and 27x. DSA via sport or not, time management is very important, as someone mentioned earlier.
