My son knows your son. I am SAHM so no tuition for him at the moment. My hubby reads chinese books with him every night to improve his chinese. And we are glad he has improved a lot. However, we still need to speak more mandarin to him in order to improve his chinese conversation.

I just started him on P2 tuition at confusion at clementi mall. He is not so strong in chinese as compared to his other subjects & as you can see, his mum's chinese oso cannot hehe

He was sharing with me on his new form teacher. The form teacher gave them 'warning' that she is a very strict teacher. He got a little worried that she will beat him if he misbehave hahaha. High chance that he will misbehave because he is very active and super vocal. I really pray hard for him...

Yeah, I just sent an email to check with his new chinese teacher about the \"new\" class. So glad to hear that he is happy abt gg back to sch.

My son's form teacher, according to him is fiercer than his P1's FT. I think the teachers may want to look strict day 1 so that the children will behave. I think there are pros and cons for strict teachers. Being vocal is a good.

I think P1 FT have to more friendly so that P1 kids can adapt to school better. So P2 is when the real thing starts

Being vocal is good but i think he is over vocal.. I remember his P1 FT told me during the mid year meet the parent session that she sometimes have to stop him if not she cannot continue with the class. :oops:

Can share with me if you have any insight on why did they change class this year? I wonder if this is their kind of ranking that they split the kids according to results...

My son told me that too. I tried looking at the calendar on their website. The exam schedules are their but there is no indication of levels. So I am puzzled also.

He is in the Tuesday afternoon class. How many students are there in the Sun class? He told me that he is the only one.

This year they are still having formative assessment, however end of the year there will be a SA. There is a memo given on first week of school, similar to P1.
