Even playing is learning, so it's fine I guess. My DD is very hungry for books, so I read a lot to her. She also enjoys going to the playground, fixing jigsaw puzzles, chit-chatting, playing cpu games, etc. MUST play NOW! You might consider controlling his playing once go into K1 to instill good study habits.Dear mommies,
Wanna know what is the activity that you are normally do with your 2009 kids? I always think that he's too small so I let him play all day. Play his toys & iPad. I'll only bring him to playgroup class (2hrs) next year.
Thanks, -
My youngest son still canโt color nicely. I guess I need to read more for him & teach him how to draw for his fine motor. He loves to go to the playground & plays with his friends.
Does anybody has 2005 & 2009 kids? May I know how you manage your time to teach your 1st & 2nd one? -

What we did was teach DD1 n DD2 will follow. We train DD1 to read when she was ard 3 n now she always read to DD2. whn DD1 is doing her homework, DD2 will \"read\" beside her. DD2 tends to be more playful n demanding, that's becoz DD1 always give in :please: .
Our old neighbor taught us this method when our DD1 was less than a yr old: teach the eldest well, n the rest will follow. We really benefitted from her sharing.
Honestly, no sweat at all to take both out as DD2 will follow what DD1 is doing. Recently I took both of them n my mum to Hong Kong, hubby can't join due to work. It was a breeze, :boogie: , even mum was impressed how we managed with the stroller, luggage bags n the kids :imanangel:.
When comes to learning, we set timetable for DD1. she is disciplined, aft yrs of training lah, so can seat down n do her work for 2 1/2hr every night. Occasionally will chk w us unknown stuff. I will normally tae DD2 to my room, read or do flash cards w her. Sometime she will ask for coloring request to sit beside jie jie.
Bottom down to, how much you have prepared DD1 to set a good example.
I hope this help. :xedfingers: -
Baking Mum:
Totally agreed. 2nd child will definitely \"copy\" 1st child action... :grphug:
