Hi all, I was like you an eager P1 parent this year too. Just sharing with you my experience (don’t know if it’s still the same). Their dismissal time for every friday is 12.35pm but I think for new P1s, for the first few days will also be slightly earlier as they will be brought to waiting area for dismissal by their teachers/prefect. They will guide them to the different gates for pick up & also waiting area for the school bus. Therefore, its important to tell your kid where is the gate you will meet them (if picking up on your own) & for those on school bus, remind your kid the bus no/plate no. As for staying in the school for awhile, I think you can only stay around the foyer area to see your child walk in by the prefect/teachers in charge only. They will not allowed any parents to stay in the school compound, even during recess as they have catered food for the kids.

I called up the office today and they were not aware there is any change in dismissal time on Fridays - but the lady said she will check with the vp. In any case, there was no letter about this; so I’m taking that the dismissal time remains at 1235pm on Fridays.

you mean the house colour? I think it should be the same throughout their Pri school days. But you consider to only get what's required becos the material dries fast, and also I understand that they do work on improving the uniform (eg by means of material used).

thanks hquek for the info. The uniform materials are good and compare to other school, we already save cost without having to get separate sets for PE. 😄

me too (love the uniform), but I understand that for strenous exercise, there were some feedback about how absorbent the uniform is. DS don’t have that problem (probably becos he dun exercise much).

As for wallet, usually this is kept INSIDE the bag and taken out only during recess. So no issue what to do with it during PE lesson - belief is that it should be inside bag.
