saw that in straits times.. and the parents says it is all worth it to see the kids perform in the concert...
My DS CC also have such concert but being \" catty\" i only brought 1 tickets ( DH say since have video can watch from there lor ) ... it is at this DBS ( high class ) auditorum lor... buffet spread at the end but i think it is not necessary... the kids are so tired and to do such concert my DS had been rehearsing for 3 mths :yikes: and he is always lacking behind in his studies lor... it good to do such dance and singing but not to this elaboration and if your kid dun want to participate or join then what is he going to do when the other kids practise ?? :slapshead:

dd has 2/3 good frenz yah... as she always mention their names yah...s o 2-3 cards shld be okay bah... let her draw by herself... maybe the words gotta spell for her bah.... hmmmm.... maybe start to collect some cutesy pic/ stuffs for her to decor to the cards bah....

yday, DS paint some pictures on the canvas (got it online) and very nice, he said wana give his teachers to thank them... then i realised, hmmm, should he?

if i am u, i will shoot the Tr. why is she comparing? each individual child has their own speed and ability, she shld be telling u what u shld do n not complaining as a Tr she has to know how to handle children who are not doing well, and of coz to get parents to assist at home.

When in nursery, DS has a Tr complain abt him, said he cant sit still in class, i told her off, look at the class, 8 students, with DS the only boy (yes, we used to call DS wei-xiao-bao) all the others girls, isnt it v obvoius he will be the active one? she should also look into is it her class n way of teaching boring. After I said her, i brought DS to me, and at the same time warned DS to behaved in class. His P heard it n she sat in and realised it is the class that is boring...

I believed if a child has prob in studies, we cant just blame or say the child/teacher, we have to look into ather areas too.

Huh... this Tr very well trained lor... being slowing bit and bits ' complaining \" abt DS... She is his Tr since Nursery and then move up to K1 lor... at Nursery she also complain that DS is very active ( but the other boys also active lor )and do this and that... I had to be the co-operative parents as i am afraid that if i complain too much she will be \"nasty \" to him, as he is under her care lor... I think the Tr dun like DS and DS dun like her... should have taken him out of this CC last year... DH says this tr very fake lor... And for long time she kept complaining abt DS social and emotional so we thought this is the area that we should focus lor until end of the year when she is not going take the K2 class then she complain about his academic lor... saying he cant read... phonics very bad... cannot help him in his phonics cause phonics must build up from 0-4yrs lor after 4 yrs cannot help... asked ard... and all enrichment class only start phonic after 3yrs lor...

is me "complained" to Tr that my girl 不行. But Tr insists she’s okay and always the 1st few who can read, ask qns, finish work… too +ve to believe leh… haha… dh said Tr always said good things lor…


any colorful/ "pictureful" chapter books to recommend to read eh? gotta start my girl leh…
