Thanks very much for your help, jtoh. One or two a year into golf is

Yes, that's why I don't think there's an open trial. Why don't you check with the CCA during CCA Orientation day? -

Hi, there are no restrictions on the colour of the design, as long as it's 80% white. Mine also has a purple nike tick. The logos, as long as they are not too big, should do. Like those huge nike ticks across the whole shoes aren't allowed.Hi Choco05, I have some questions to ask, please help thanks !
1. you mentioned to me before that all white shoes with 10% designs are allowed. Are there any restriction on the colours of the design ? Say, wld the school allow all white shoes with purple Nike logo ?
2. Aoens ago when i was at RGS, we wore shorts under our pinafore 6 days a week to avoid èµ°å…‰, do you girls still do that now ?
3. what sort of bags do sec schoolgirls carry to school? Does my DD require a heavy duty one like those they used in primary schools ? or a lightweight type backpack or slingbag suffice, eg those haversacks sold at Smiggles?
sorry i didnt scroll thru pages to see if similar questions are asked as I am overseas now. if above questions are already answered earlier, please kindly redirect me.
thank you very much !
Haha yes, we still do that to prevent from being èµ°å…‰, though some people don't. It's up to you!
School bags? We carry all types of them. It depends on what your DD likes/needs. Slingbags are ok, but they might be heavier to carry from one shoulder. I've seen all sorts of bags, haversacks, lightweight backpacks(you know some backpacks have like chains on them? Those $20 waterproof kind. Quite a lot of ppl use it. Though some use branded ones like Jansport). I've seen sling bags too. -

I don't think there's an open trial for sailing either. Do also take note that golf is an expensive sport.strangequark:

Hi, just to check. The girls are given lockers right? Individual or to be shared? And I believe the girls have to pay rental for the lockers too?
Next year, the year 1s have to bring their MacBooks to school. Are there power-points in the lockers for charging purposes? Just in case…
Thanks in advance. -

Yes there are lockers, forgot the amount to be paid but it's around...$6-10 i guess. The amount is paid is for the lock. I think there's like 1 or 2 power-points in class, though we are not allowed to charge our own devices. Don't know about next year.Hi, just to check. The girls are given lockers right? Thanks, Choco05. Btw, for your year, the girls were required to buy quite a few textbooks - Science, EL, Hist, Geog, MT. Other than Mother Tongue, did the teachers make use of the books in class? Do you and your classmates usually leave the books in the lockers?

[/quote]No, we don't even take out the tb most of the time, other than for Lit. Yes, we always dump them in the lockers so we don't have to carry them around. For me, i actually have 2 sets of tb(one set being my brother's)so if i need any reference at home i just borrow his. It's basically the O'lvl series for Science(matters series) and Geog(Earth:our home series).

Thanks once again, Choco05. I think it is a very good idea to have 2 sets, for quick referencing at home. So I would presume your bag is pretty light and empty most of the time.

On the other hand, i carry a file with it's contents never filed. And when i have an empty bag i still put lots of junk in it. Like lots of notebooks and sets of pens
