          Baking Mum

Wah, Baking Mum, you really live up to your name 😂

Oh oh oh, can share some kid-friendly, easy-to-cook recipes? 😉
I'm always trying to decide what to prepare for meals :scratchhead: Ran out of inspirations!
I don't kn how to cook only bake lah
          My mum does the cooking.

If you want simple baking ideal, then no prob.

          Milo tiramisu:
Mixed mascarpone cheese 120g w whipped cream 180g
Soak finger sponges in cooled Milo drink
Lay in small cup the sponges top w cheese mixture n dust w Milo powder
Repeat till fill cup to the rim, remember to dust w Milo powder.

DH doesn't allow DDs to drink coffee, so I come up with this kid-friendly recipe.

I tried preparing a soup, a veg n egg dish last nite using my wok, all at one go, nds abt 40mins.
Soup: carrots, corn on cob, skinless chicken thigh, wolf berries n red dates.
Steam egg w minced meat (seasoned w seseme oil n light soya sauce sauce)
Steam Egg bean curb w 金针菇 (season w scallop sauce)

Place them into individual container n cook at the same time. Bath the kids while the food is cooking. Lazy mother's method

Quite boring dishes, many mummies here can cook better manh. 😄

            Baking Mum:

Talk abt baking. I think many mummies here do bake?

So busy baking for CNY? My MIL n mum only want pineapple tarts for CNY, so easy for me. DH n DDs also love pineapple tarts, so normally will bake some, vy extremely ex :yikes: to buy during CNY period. In fact most buy ready made pineapple jam from phoon huat but claimed all homemade :scratchhead: .
I buy my ready made jam from a shop in JB, tastier than phoon huat, I felt.

In general, M'sia stuff taste better.

            Hmmm... for now yes...

kiss, I was pondering on your question about why ergo tables and chairs since school don't have. I was pondering becos I like to think that I'm a reasonable parent not so easily sway by commercial advert.......

The primary school tables and chairs are age appropriate meaning the size is suitable for the kids. If don't wish to buy ergo table and chair, then just need to take note of the size of the tables and chairs when buying from normal furniture shop. Then upgrade in size and height when the kids are older. So I conclude ergo tables and chairs are for lazy parents IMHO :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :siam:

But hor I sat in one rather expensive adult chair and it feel so good 😄
Say me lazy wor....
