But so ex to buy, sigh...

sometimes, I see snot on the books and even curly short short hair

I usually buy fr DangDang, bookdepository, or acmall when they have big discounts.[/quote] :faint:  think I have to reconsider about going but the library have the books I want.. Haiz...

                Good Morning everyone..

Was catching up the NUMEROUS POSTINGS.. :yikes: :nailbite:

While reading.. i was actually in the state of emergency mode.. y so? coz of the building up reading foundation part.. Frankly.. i've been quite a laidback mum.. or rather lazy at times as well.. But as i continue to read the postings.. i realised.. i really need to do something abt DS's reading habits.. as DD1 has no probs taking books out to read on her own.. while DS, he has to be told to take books to read.. n if the choice btw playing his toys or reading.. he rather play.. while DD1 will choose to read most of the time..

Though this days, i do read to them during bed time.. n for DS i spend like an hr a day to catch up on assessment bks/book reading.. whh i can tell he is not really interested.. simply have no idea hw i shld continue to make him interested in reading.. haiz..

                      Good morning kakis

Mintymin, you can leave bks around to pique his interest, get bks he is interested, DD1 is into princesses so have those girly bks.

I think also becos he is still building his reading skills, so maybe that’s why he is a bit "off" books? When he has mastered the blending, am sure he will be more interested.

Maybe he is more into non-fiction books? There’s a comic science series that’s quite popular and there’s the science mag, young scientist that’s easy to read. I have pop up machine book and body bks which DS is very interested.

Another indirect way to influence is that adults are seen reading too.

Sometimes, it takes awhile to build the interest.
