I don’t use dryer at home, so I am not sure but I reckon some material will shrink or go out of shape if you use dryer…

Hi! I need to buy fencing equipment for my DS.
Can someone advise where i can buy the equipment from? My DS has checked the Leon Paul website and it cost a bomb to purchase the equipment. :?:
Thanks! -
Hi Herbie,
Fencing equipment is expensive. The entire set inclusive of foil, wires, lame, plastron, breeches, chest protector, mask, shoes and equipment bag can cost $2000 if not more… In Singapore, Z Fencing School sells them. I note that the prices online from overseas websites are not any cheaper. -
My DS’s coach selling the sabre fencing package which include sabre mask 350N, Sabre elect glove, body wire, elect sabre complete, fencing jackets and pants 350N, Plastrom FIE 800N (European) and Sabre Elect jacket & Mask Clip excluding accessories such as fencing bag and shoes at $790.
And my DS said that all the items mentioned above are made in China… It is reliable to get Made in China stuff?
Can advise? Many thanks!
I check out blade Club website but they did not mentioned whether they sell fencing equipment. -
Yes, China made package is much cheaper compared to German ones but should be good enough for beginners. I am not sure about sabre but the kids spoil their foils and wire easily. At the same time, they outgrow the breeches etc… very fast. I also forgot to mention that the $2000 includes upfront fees for a term.
Btw, I meant Z Fencing School not Blade Club selling the equipment.
