Looks like for P5 next year there is no Loyalty 10? The top students seem to be going to Loyalty 9.

I suppose there will b no Loyalty 10 since this year P4 has max 9 classes only? But my P4 boy disagrees.

My elder boy's P4 result slip indicated that he was in the 30+ level position ( aggregate score close to his bro's). He was posted to CH5.

Did u call the Gen. Office to confirm the no. of P5 classes next year?

So I guess first sat of 2012 is better for all n hopefully lesser rain by then too.. I will go change this Thursday night then...

Preparation? Not much done yet so far...just starting my break this wk onwards.. Will be calling bus operators this wk...uniform not available in sch tis wk so will have to buy next wk when going for a sch visit ... Books ordered Liao..getting them tomorrow...books r not ex but the files n stationeries stuff required r quite a bit...

As for ds ... Busy ..super busy .... Playing his games everyday :faint: went library last wk n when he saw kids borrowing piles of books, can ask me why some more? Not everyone is lazy bum like him lor.. I tried to get him to read the whole holiday...barely finish 1 till today! :slapshead: he won't be kan chiong till he is stuck with piles of work n then he looked at u with tat puss in boots wide eye look lor.... :roll:

No, i did not call them. But I know one of the cohort top 10 doing HCL is in Loyalty 9, so i concluded that it must be the best class.

Either they trimmed to 9 classes or they deliberately changed the top class again?

Either they trimmed to 9 classes or they deliberately changed the top class again?[/quote]last year P5 are dragon kids. There are 390 of students in the cohort. That's why last year got 10 classes. I think this year P5 only got 9 classes and Loyalty 9 should be the top one class.

Hi 2011 P6 parents,


Can I have your advice - which type of Exam papers should I get for my DS who is sitting for PSLE in 2012? To give you an idea where I think he stands - He is going to be in Resilience 8, the middle class so not those aiming for >260 scores but will be very happy if he can get >240 -

1) Top schools’ P6 Prelim papers (Is that available from those pushcarts which sell the usual P1-P5 Top schools’ past years’ exam papers?)

2) Top schools’ SA2 papers

3) Past years PSLE papers (Is this available? Again, where can I find them?)

4) Ace papers? (Those available in Popular - are these filled with very difficult questions for the high achievers aiming for 260+ results?)

I am told that school will use past years’ papers to drill them as class practices. Can I know if those are (1) or (2) or (3)? Or a mixture or ALL of them? I want to know so that in the interest of time, I can just give him only those that school is not preparing.

As it is, P6 is already going to be packed with revision and revision from school, I am trying to give the minimum to him so as not to add on to his workload, yet want to make sure he is prepared sufficiently to handle the ultimate PSLE! Came across quite a few 2011 PSLE students who supposed to do quite well in their schools but yet had surprisingly low T-scores, really got me very worried about my DS …
