I was also wondering becos when they announced the student and sch, will it look weird that the student appear in a different sch uniform (sec sch)? But to wear back the pri sch uniform when you are already in sec sch seems weird too.
How About ....
Wear Pri Sch Top, and Sec Sch Btm?

I think it doesn't matter if it's pri or sec school uniform. Again, they will not REFUSE to give you your award just bc of that!

I've seen my friend's photos of her children taking their awards in previous years in Dec. I've seen children wearing their primary uniforms, and I saw some of the children wearing their secondary school uniforms already (probably those who got in via DSA or scores high enough to be certain they can get in). -

i'm very worried of what sch my dd is going to.. she chose ngee ann that is 2 marks higher than her score, and her second choice is temasek with a score that is the same as hers. yet, her second choice's school banding is band 3, and first choice is band 6. she likes the first choice school very much but worried that her marks will be like the band 6 type. i am thinking of appealing if she gets into her first choice to the second choice. How to appeal? Which is better? Ngee ann or temasek?

Oh and if u have appealed but have not been told of the outcome do u still buy the sch bks and sch uni that ur child has been put into??

Smartiemommy, I can see you posting in a few threads and you seem very worried. I have not done any appeal before, but have heard the procedure from fren.
You can call Temasek tomorrow and find out about what info they need from you for appeal process. After you have received the S1 posting results on Wed, you can proceed to Temasek (if you have not gotten that choice), and put in the appeal form with all the info they need. You will still need to report to your S1 posting school on 22 Dec, but you may not want to buy the uniform and books. Once you get the appeal results, assuming you are successful, you will collect the letter and you need to withdraw from the school you are posted to (get the school to sign the letter) and return to the new school. If unsuccessful, just proceed to S1 posted school to buy uniform and books.
