Thanks
Basketball court or canteen and usually together with friends. They are no longer P1 so they know where to go.

Can I check what time the girls have to reach the school before being considered \"late\" and will be booked for it?
The reason for me asking is to see whether it's feasible for me to bring my girl to school every morning.
Just received call from school bus uncle and in spite of the very early pickup time, he also asked us to go to the bus stop instead of at the usual void deck pick-up point (his is a mini-van) -

Although the school has indicated 7.10am, the gates close at 7.20am so if she gets in before 7.20am, she should not get booked assuming there are no changes to the rules. Can I check what time the girls have to reach the school before being considered \"late\" and will be booked for it?

seeking all of you's opinion here:
If you were me, between the 2 following options, which one would you think is more optimal:
1. Child takes school bus at 5.50am, reach school around 6.40am, take breakfast at school canteen;
2. Child leaves house around 6.15pm, needs to take LRT, changes train lines twice, change to bus before reaching school around 7.10am (assuming no hiccup along the way)
Now trying to see if should let my girl take school bus or I myself bringing her to school via public transport every day..... :?
Thanks! -

I will choose to let the kid go on school bus. While on the bus, if the kid is really tired, still get to nap some. Reaching school at 6.40am leaves ample time for them to have breakfast. Taking public transport, you'll be rushing for one train after another and you may not even get a seat.
Many thanks

I had to take the school bus at 5.45am when I was in RGPS. 1st one to board the bus and I will doze until near the school. And I enjoy the time I get to play with my friends before the bell rings. -
The school bus will be a better choice, less stress. Mine wakes up at 5.30, bus comes at 5.55, buy her buns the nite b4 and she takes it b4 the bus comes. She naps for a while in the bus.

I think the school bus is a better choice as well. The public transport option has too many connections which would tire her out and, well, you know what the mrt is like these days.

School bus is better…
-
Power nap in the school bus is important. It can really charge up the kids.

Thanks a lot for all of you's advice
:thankyou:
Before the school holiday ends, I have actually informally sounded out the mother of my girl's classmate staying nearby which happened to take the same school bus. I have asked her whether can \"tumpang\" her car come the new year in the morning. She did said \"yes\" but maybe out of courtesy :nailbite:
Both me and my hubby don't drive, so effectively we can't car-pool and share the responsibility, more like me \"latching\" on to her. And we are talking about everyday tumpang, not just once in a while. So I am a bit hesitant to ask her again to confirm....
