I’m not blaming or pinpointing anyone. I just hope that the problem can be resolved quickly. Many lives will be involved if an accident really occurred from it. It’s not a laughing matter! Even $$ cannot make a dead person alive!

i am not a engineer...so how long can this plastic cable work?
Depends on the amount of vibrations & friction.
I don't think the plastic cable ties can hold for long.
As they are so-named, they are usually for bundling cables together.
Not really for these mechanical parts...

Dunno why they dare to show this to general public.

My question is how long has this problem been there? Did SMRT do any maintenance on the tracks and train? How many times they do it in a year?

we were told they are supposed to be doing it on nightly check

Boarding passengers shld let the needy pple (older pple/young children/mothers-to-be, etc) to get on board the bus first and bus drivers shld wait for this group of passengers to settle down first before moving on.

Has the reason for the sudden braking been verified?

Too early to fault the bus driver. He might have jammed brakes to avoid an accident.

Anyone see the photos? Saw was dressed like Dowager and carried by A & F men (shirtless hunks) during their D&D. It's on today's Asiaone.

Not sure is it just me... Just now took train, when it stopped in between stations, I am wondering will the same happen to me - stuck in the train due to disruption. Thankfully, after few seconds the train move on.

Then again, another few stations, stopped again...

Again move on. :faint: After the couple of stopping in between the train move on. Husband ask why I make so much noise just for the few minutes stopping in the middle of station...
