I have just gotten my books, badges, tie, socks, etc. Are the books the same for all the different classes? Tomorrow, we super sin nang liao. No need to queue for anything. I'm glad I am following this thread.

How come the book shop did not tell you no need to buy the tie / badge because the boys will get it at the Investiture ceremony at at the end of orientation ?

I hv ordered one tie and 3badges , should I cancel it( how many spare badges do we need ?)

I would be thankful if you shared your views with me. My son scored 239 but did not get his 1st choice- SJI. The cut off this year has apprently gone up to 242. We lodged the appeal on 1.12.2011.He has been posted to YTSS.will my appeal to SJI be jeopardised if i accept YTSS?

I would be thankful if you shared your views with me. My son scored 239 but did not get his 1st choice- SJI. The cut off this year has apprently gone up to 242. We lodged the appeal on 1.12.2011.He has been posted to YTSS.will my appeal to SJI be jeopardised if i accept YTSS?

If he's been posted to YTSS he must show up for registration tomorrow at YTSS. You then wait for SJI to get back to you on the appeal. In the meantime just take it that he's going to YTSS. And no, your appeal will not be affected.

by default you need to report to the posted school

and wait for appeal result

No need to buy as your son will be given the badge and tie at the end of Orientation. You can buy extra if you're kiasu.
