For PSLE it's still practice, practice, practice. As long as ur child does the assessment/exam papers diligently, it shd be no problem.

I think what's more important is to learn from the mistakes made in these practices, know what went wrong with their answers and then avoid them in future practices. Then it'll make a difference.

Wow, today I just happened to see this thread..... 😆 It really makes me laugh. Feel that all parents here are very cute. Don't be mistaken, not ugly but adorable. 😉

So any parent here is planning to go for secondary school open house in 2012? My colleague told me alot of the parent will start to look see look for their idea secondary school during P5. She said she regret to go during her ds P6, she should have go 1 year earlier so can see a few more school to compare.

Hi, my DS will be taking PSLE in 2013. We need early preparation because we DIY and hope to keep it this way. During holidays, we relax, read English fiction/non fiction casually. I am more concerned about his Chinese as he has slipped into band 2. I downloaded some China Chinese drama without English subtitles, read one Chinese article of 我报 daily, copy some Chinese essays. We speak Mandarin at home so Chinese is truly our mother tongue but sadly, my DS processes his thoughts in English then translate them into Chinese. I just hope that we are not too late.

I have also just printed the yr 2010 cut off aggregate scores of "top" secondary schools for my DS to set realistic target. Anyone knows how to get yr 2011 cut off aggregate?
