Can mummies staying in jurong west area recommend me a good childcare in that area. Due to some reason I going to move there in a rush. We don’t know where to put my son who is going k1 next year. Please help. By the way does any mummies know is the MMI at the jurong west sport stadium ok? How is the Cherie hearts branch in jurong west branch?pls help.

Hi to parents living in taman jurong area, does anyone have any feedback about Carpe Diem @Yung Ho Road ? Especially regarding the curriculum and teachers. Am debating if to send my 18 months boy there next year… Or if anyone has any feedback on any of the childcare that i am shortlisting too, it would be really great.


1. Loving Child care center at Blk 350 Corporation Road
I visited the center and it looks rather cramped.

2. My First Skool @ Yung An Road who is under Project Eureka
Read online about this school pioneering Project Eureka for Literature Arts, school looks large and new and their outdoor activities are all within the compounds of the school.

3. Just kids at Taman Jurong
Heard from some neighbours that the school is good… but there is not outdoor play at all and center is fully air-conditioned (i prefer open air locations)

My First Skool @ Yung An though is a newly established childcare but its hfmd cases are quite frequent hence I’ve no confidence in their hygiene. As for academic wise, heard they don’t have spelling hence this is my concern as I’m afraid the kid might not be well prepared to Primary One.


For Just Kids, no outdoor area and its fully air conditioned hence not so keen on it.

For Carpe Diem, shall make a trip this evening to understand their curriculum and facilities.

I’m sourcing for toddler class for my boy for 2013 too. I’m staying at Yung Sheng Rd, what about you, summermummy?

I recommend Ecokidd Childcare at No 8 Yunnan Walk 2. I have never placed my kids there before but my 2 kids were at the Ecokidd Kindergarten at 50 Yunnan Drive 1. Both centres are under same management. I heard that the company has intention to convert the Kindergarten to a Childcare centre due to demands.
