I'm starting DS on phonics reader stories and the Peter and Jane series. So far so good.


We did not know that he had ear wax problems which was causing his speech to be unclear. Now that we cleared ear wax, his speech has been improving.

For Chinese, I've stopped DS's Chinese enrichment prog and using si wu kuai du

I started to get worried when his speech was not clear at 3plus. I asked around but all told me it could be because he was a boy. But I was still worried. One day, he had fever and the doc examined his ears to rule out ear infection. That was how we found out about his ear wax issue. There was alot of ear wax to be washed out. Now I would check his ears regularly. He went for another washing a few months ago.

We are now working on Bk3A

Attended Meet the Parents session at DS1’s school today… What a day to hold it on (It’s Christmas Eve!) Anyway, teachers commented that his handwriting is atrocious. Guess I have to be stricter in his penmanship next year… Haiz…
